Pierce County Career Day

A place to imagine

Imagine a world of doers and makers. Career Day gives Pierce County and Western Washington high schoolers hands-on experience in:

  • Aerospace
  • Construction
  • Engineering
  • Manufacturing
  • Transportation
  • Utilities
  • STEM fields and more!

Each year more than 2,200 high school students from 40+ schools attend. More than 140 employers set up interactive booths. Join us!

Career Day 2021 is under consideration at this time due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Please stay tuned for further updates regarding this event.

Sparks fly when the trades open doors for hands-on learning at the Washington State Fairgrounds in Puyallup each November.

Students try welding, drive heavy equipment, connect electrical circuits and more. Tomboy Tools hosts a large girls-only section dedicated to encouraging women to seek careers in the trades.

Students bring their curiosity and leave with a possible career path or even a job offer!
