Tacoma small business owner Mahogany Williams is running more efficiently and is able to increase the production of her pickled products after the purchase of new equipment. With the help of a Small Business Grant from WorkForce Central, Mahogany purchased equipment, including a stand mixer with attachments and a semi-automatic labeling machine to expedite labeling for her wholesale food production business, The Pickled Chef, LLC.
“We can work quicker and more effectively,” Mahogany said. “And it is allowing us to produce more products to sell, empowering us to expand our market share and add more products. This grant has been a great lift for our business. It has allowed us to think bigger and invest in our business so we can continue expanding and growing within the Tacoma community.”
