WorkForce Central bridges the gap between job seekers, employers, and community organizations to build a robust workforce and ensure economic vitality across the region.

Our Role

WorkForce Central serves as the backbone of Pierce County’s workforce development system. Guided by our Executive Board and Workforce Development Board, we align resources, strategies, and partnerships to ensure that local businesses have access to the talent they need and Pierce County residents have access to the opportunities they deserve.

We’ve designed a system where people can build skills, access training and support, and connect with meaningful work, strengthening employers’ access to skilled talent.
