Nicole Battles, owner of Fluffy Girl Creations, a small business located in Fife, used a grant to purchase and upgrade equipment, including a new heat press and wide format printer for her body-positive focused online novelty gift shop. Her mission is to provide unique fluffy-centric items that promote self-love, care, and acceptance, no matter your size.
Previously, she had to turn down several well-paying custom orders because she did not have the equipment to accommodate the orders customers requested. She formerly only had a 15 x 15 heat press, which limited the products and services she could offer. Custom Orders are very profitable and essential for her business’s growth and success. The new purchases will help Nicole expand her product offerings and grow her customer base.
Thank you to the Washington State Department of Commerce for partnering with Local Workforce Boards on this initiative that supports small businesses and provides opportunities for them to grow.
