Guadalupe a WorkSource customer smiling

Guadalupe L.

Guadalupe was hit hard financially by the pandemic, which left her jobless and with nowhere to turn. She connected with WorkSource Pierce and enrolled in Adult and Economic Security For All programs where she received assistance with enrolling into Clover Park Technical College and applying for financial aid. Guadalupe completed all the required courses and obtained her health unit coordinator certification with a GPA of 3.96! Within a very short amount of time, she gained employment with MultiCare at a hospital and put her life back on track. She is now officially a Health Unit Coordinator making $18.50/hour.
