Amber came to WorkSource Pierce not knowing how she was going to meet her end goal of becoming a CDL-A driver. She paid her own money for the course and had to get a stop-gap job because she was unable to pass the test when she last took training.

She met with a Career Advisor (Jermane) and mapped out a plan to take a refresher course and to try the test again.

With Amber’s motivation and determination, they worked together and got her enrolled in the program within seven days and signed up for a CDL Refresher Course the following week.

Amber said the class went well. She passed her test in September and is currently looking for employment.

“I know I will be able to have a bright future full of successes because of this program and Jermane’s help,” she said.
