Anthony is a mature worker who connected to WorkSource Pierce in 2017 but could not complete training due to personal issues and barriers. His education level and physical limitations held him back from finding the right career.
In 2021, Anthony connected back to WorkSource and enrolled in services to support his career goals. He received assistance with obtaining his CDL through a referral from his career advisor to the Department of Licensing.
His advisor helped him find a new job as a CDL driver for The Peggs Company, where he is now making $32 an hour.
