Tiffany T.

When Tiffany first connected to the WorkSource Pierce network, she was seeking assistance with her resume, job search, and access to jobs. She spoke to a career advisor who listened to her needs and suggested attending the next WorkSource Pierce Job Club. Tiffany attended Job Club and was able to brush up on her resume and interviewing skills. She was now ready to put her newfound skills to use.

A WorkSource career advisor told her about an upcoming Hire Pierce County virtual job fair. She wanted to attend but didn’t have access to a computer at home to join the virtual event. She was happy to learn that laptops were available for her to use at the WorkSource Pierce office at South Hill Mall in Puyallup. The day of the event, she came to the WorkSource office and used one of the laptops to participate in the virtual hiring event.

“I didn’t have access to a computer at home, so using their laptops to interview with employers was helpful,” said Tiffany. “I was able to talk to multiple employers through the virtual event and scheduled a few interviews. I appreciate being able to access multiple services through different formats.”
