TACOMA, WA – Whether it’s crafting iced mochas, launching youngsters down waterslides or wearing slacks in an air-conditioned office, young adults have a myriad of summer job opportunities to pursue at JobFest 2017. Starbucks, Wild Waves and State Farm are just a few of the employers hoping to hire young adults on April 19. Also on site to hire will be Metro Parks Tacoma, Marshalls, Chick-fil-A and more.

“We enthusiastically support JobFest each year. It provides a great opportunity to meet high quality candidates face to face,” said Cliff Brown, Recruiter at State Farm. “Seeing their enthusiasm upfront brings their resume to life and highlights their level of competitiveness for our many job opportunities.”

JobFest is Washington state’s largest young adult career fair. Job seekers aged 16-24 are invited to engage with employers, learn about work opportunities and beef up their job-hunting skills by attending the event. At JobFest 2016, more than two-hundred students and young adults landed interviews and at least 30 were hired during the event.

Same-day registration is available at the door. For more information, visit workforce-central.org/jobfest.
