TACOMA RESCUE MISSION

As one of the largest homeless service providers in Pierce County, the Tacoma Rescue Mission is at the forefront of providing holistic care and resources to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. On top of providing vital food and shelter, they also provide services like job training, counseling, recovery, housing support, and more to equip and empower individuals and families in need to escape homelessness and rebuild their lives. Tacoma Rescue Mission helps community members experiencing homelessness thrive in all areas – emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

Due to a game-changing partnership with WorkForce Central, community members who come to the Mission in need are able to access vocational training programs creating accessible and equitable pathways for them to enter or re-enter the job market—in turn, helping people experiencing homelessness or other barriers like addiction step into lasting stability, self-sufficiency, and a better future.
