Our Equity Journey

WorkForce Central is committed to building more equitable systems and anti-racist practices. We’re excited to share our work so far.

  • Over the last eight months, all staff took the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI)® and completed personal equity plans.
  • We revised our Personnel Policies to include equal time off for all employees, regardless of position, experience, or tenure.
  • We’ve made lived experience a valued priority, giving it equal weight professional and educational experience in our hiring.
  • Our first cohort of eleven team members started weekly facilitated discussions about the Seeing White Podcast Series to learn about whiteness in our country’s history, how it functions today, and how it impacts all of us.

We will continue to share the shifts we make in policy and practice as our organization learns on this journey.
