As a WorkForce Central partner, Career TEAM provides job seekers with the individualized services needed to obtain employment using innovative solutions to solve complex social challenges such as closing the opportunity divide, reducing unemployment, and eradicating poverty.

Career TEAM’s delivery model includes a high-touch and high-tech approach, which blends intensive case management with unique technology, and its affiliate site model allows for greater access to services in underserved areas. Career TEAM is keenly aware that collaborating with local community partners, employers, and stakeholders is essential to ensuring measurable workforce outcomes.

In Pierce County, Career TEAM operates workforce services out of the WorkSource Pierce One-Stop Center, JBLM’s Hawk Center, and at community partner locations, including Orting Family Support Center and Tacoma Rescue Mission. They are reaching deep into the community to provide services throughout Pierce County with a goal to meet each customer where they are. Their Career Advisors provide customers with the tools and skills necessary to achieve employment that leads to self-sufficiency, including professional development, mock interviewing, resume building, interpersonal communication, and teamwork.

Through this partnership between WorkForce Central and Career TEAM, customers can access resources, training, and paid internships to achieve their career goals.
